About Us
At Syntron we manufacture Electronic equipment used for the betterment of the utilization of electric supply. The instruments like digital power analyzers, digital frequency relays, electrical power analyzers, automatic digital voltmeter, digital power meter, precision digital voltmeter, automatic power meter, automatic electronic equipment, mounting electrical panels etc are mounted on Electrical Panels in commercial and industrial establishments installed generally at the place where electric supply enters the premises. (The instruments are not useful for domestic application)
From the beginning in 1982, our main thrust has been in building Automatic Relays for control of Power Factor. In simple layman terms power factor of an electrical installation is the efficiency of utilization of electric power. It is measured as the ratio of real power to apparent power (Watts to VA). Obviously the highest ratio is 1.00 (you cannot use more power than u take). The aim of the Automatic Power Factor Control Relay (APFCR) is to control the Power Factor (PF) to the value set by user or ideally, to try to achieve the best possible power factor under system constraints. The APFCR does this by switching ''power capacitors'' provided in the panel of the purpose.
